Dedicate a Star!
“And when I shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun”.
To help fund our production of Romeo and Juliet, Taking Flight are running a Dedicate a Star scheme – for a donation of your choice ( £10 and over) you can dedicate a star to someone special. The stars will be hanging in the woods and ruins we perform in this summer and you will receive a certificate thanking you for your kindness.
Volunteers
Taking Flight are recruiting volunteers. An integral part of our performances are the performers who guide the audience around the venues in character and occasionally taking on smaller roles. We need dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to be involved in this summer’s tour of Romeo and Juliet. This is an ideal way to gain experience of outdoor touring and integrated theatre. Who knows what it may lead to. One of our volunteers from last year is playing the role of Juliet this year, after wowing us at the auditions!
Romeo and Juliet
Following the success of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Taking Flight Theatre present Romeo and Juliet, featuring an integrated cast and supported by BSL and touring to outdoor accessible venues in Wales. This is a promenade production which is supported by The Arts Council Wales and The Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust.
